Have you ever awakened from a dream that was so steamy that you wanted to go back to sleep? Dreams expert Kelly Sullivan Walden offers insight in this Lisa.FM Thrive! podcast. In her latest book “The Love, Sex and Relationship Dream Dictionary,” she decodes the meanings of all kinds of dreams.
If you are having dreams that make your cheeks flush, she says there’s no reasons to worry because, Sullivan-Walden says, in dreamtime, there is no ‘inappropriate sex.’
“There’s the reality inside the dream and there’s the reality we wake up to….” said Sullivan Walden. The morality is different What happens in our waking 3-D world is completely different than what’s appropriate at night when we’re sleeping.
This podcast goes beyond steamy dreams, Kelly offers a simple tip that will help you to decode any dream in seconds. Here’s the trick:
When you have a dream about someone (or something), name three adjectives that describe the qualities the person (or thing) represents to you. Then consider where it might be important in your waking life to embrace the three qualities represented in your dreams? Kelly walks you through this process in the podcast.
Do you have recurring dreams or nightmares? Kelly explains that these happen when you wake up before a dream is finished. In this podcast she will explain how you can get to the ending, and get them to stop.
She suggests getting a free app called Dreams Cloud to record your dreams.
Have trouble remembering your dreams? Make a Declaration. Kelly offers a free ‘dream declaration meditation’ audio experience on her website.
I caught up with Kelly at the Conscious Life Expo.
